Form ADV

The regulator's required disclosure document — the one place every adviser must describe its business, fees, conflicts and history in a standard format. Here is ours, and how to read anyone's.

Read the source documents. Website summaries are provided for convenience. The current filed Form ADV and delivered brochure control if a summary differs from the regulatory documents.

What Form ADV is

Form ADV is the uniform filing every investment adviser in the United States must make and keep current. It has two main parts:

  • Part 1 — a structured, check-the-box filing about the firm: ownership, assets under management, employees, disciplinary history. Written for regulators, readable by anyone.
  • Part 2A ("the brochure") — a plain-English narrative the firm must give clients: services, the complete fee schedule, conflicts of interest, and how the firm invests. If you read one document before hiring any adviser — us included — read this one.
  • Part 2B ("the brochure supplement") — background on the individual(s) who will actually advise you.

How to use it on anyone

Before hiring any adviser, search their name or firm at adviserinfo.sec.gov. Three things take five minutes: whether they are actually registered, what Item 5 says they charge, and whether the disciplinary section is empty. An adviser who hesitates to point you there is telling you something.

Aduna Capital LLC is registered with the California DFPI (CRD #311270); registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training. If any summary on this page differs from the firm's current Form ADV as filed, the filed Form ADV controls. Clients and prospective clients receive the brochure as required by rule, and a current copy is available at any time on request at (657) 571-2607. Aduna Capital LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CalSavers, the California State Treasurer's Office, CalPERS, CalSTRS, or any other retirement system, employer or school district named on this page.

Read the brochure, then talk to us

We would genuinely rather you read Item 5 first. Then bring your questions.
