Fifteen calculators, and the arithmetic behind each one

Every tool shows the formula it uses and the figures it assumes, so you can check it against your own statement, your CPA, or the IRS table. They are illustrations, not advice, and nothing here needs an account.

The short answer

These calculators run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere. Each one prints the rule it applies and the statutory figure it uses, with the source. The 2026 limits — $24,500 to a 401(k), $7,500 to an IRA, the $184,500 Social Security wage base — come from IRS Notice 2025-67 and the SSA, and are re-verified each January.

Business owners

Each calculator is an illustration, not advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Results are estimates based only on the figures you enter and the assumptions shown on screen; they do not account for your full financial picture, market conditions, plan-specific fees or your tax situation. Rates of return are assumptions you choose to test, not forecasts, and no return is guaranteed. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
